# TERMS OF SERVICE & BUSINESS DISCLOSURES **Effective Date:** June 13, 2026 **Business:** Courtney F. Dodson, doing business as Obsidian Glows **Location:** Indiana, United States By purchasing products, submitting a custom creation request, or otherwise using the Obsidian Glows website, you agree to the following terms and policies. ## 1. Business Information Obsidian Glows is an Indiana-based small business operated by Courtney F. Dodson under the assumed business name Obsidian Glows. The business is registered as required for its operations in the State of Indiana and collects applicable sales tax on taxable transactions. ## 2. Products & Purchases Obsidian Glows offers handmade jewelry, original artwork, metaphysical and ritual items, witchy, gothic and zodiac décor, keychains, custom creations, and other artisan products. Because many products are handmade, individual pieces may have slight differences in color, texture, pattern, placement, size, stone appearance, or other details. These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of the products and are not considered defects. Product photographs are intended to represent items as accurately as possible; however, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and device or screen settings. ## 3. Final Sale Policy **All purchases from Obsidian Glows are final sale.** Obsidian Glows does not accept returns, exchanges, or customer-requested cancellations after an order has been completed. This policy applies to ready-made, handmade, custom, personalized, and made-to-order products. Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials, and other available information before completing a purchase. This policy does not prevent Obsidian Glows from addressing an item that arrives damaged or defective or an order that was fulfilled incorrectly. ## 4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders If an item arrives damaged or defective, or you receive an item different from what you ordered, please contact Obsidian Glows as soon as reasonably possible. Photographs of the item, packaging, shipping container, and/or shipping label may be requested so the issue can be evaluated. After reviewing the circumstances, Obsidian Glows may provide an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, refund, store credit, or another reasonable solution depending on the situation and product availability. ## 5. Custom Creations Custom creations are produced according to the information, preferences, reference materials, and instructions supplied by the customer. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and carefully reviewing any design details or approvals requested before production. Because custom pieces are individually handmade, the completed product may contain reasonable artistic or material variations from reference photographs, examples, digital previews, or inspiration images. Reference images are used as inspiration and guidance unless otherwise specifically agreed. Obsidian Glows will not knowingly reproduce another artist's copyrighted work as an exact copy. Once materials have been purchased or work on a custom creation has begun, requested changes may not be possible or may result in additional charges. Custom and personalized creations are final sale. ## 6. Processing & Shipping Processing times shown on the website or provided for custom orders are estimates rather than guaranteed completion or delivery dates unless specifically stated otherwise. Shipping carrier delays, weather conditions, holidays, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Obsidian Glows may affect delivery times. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect customer-provided address or a package being returned as undeliverable may be the customer's responsibility. ## 7. Metaphysical & Spiritual Disclaimer Descriptions of crystals, stones, herbs, ritual items, spiritual tools, metaphysical products, intentions, energies, or other spiritual practices are provided for informational, traditional, entertainment, or spiritual purposes. **Obsidian Glows does not guarantee any specific spiritual, metaphysical, emotional, financial, relationship, or other outcome from the purchase or use of any product.** Metaphysical products and information provided by Obsidian Glows are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition and are not substitutes for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. ## 8. Product & Ritual Safety Customers are responsible for using products safely, responsibly, and according to any instructions or warnings provided. Products involving candles, flame, incense, oils, herbs, glass, small components, or other potentially hazardous materials should never be used carelessly or left unattended when doing so could create a safety risk. Products are **not intended for human or animal consumption unless a specific product is expressly identified by Obsidian Glows as being intended for consumption.** Keep products containing small parts, potentially hazardous materials, or ritual components away from children and pets when appropriate. ## 9. Pricing, Availability & Sales Tax Prices and product availability may change without prior notice. Obsidian Glows reserves the right to correct genuine typographical, pricing, inventory, or listing errors. If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, Obsidian Glows may contact the customer to resolve the issue or cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund. Applicable sales tax will be calculated and collected on taxable purchases as required by law. ## 10. Right to Refuse or Cancel an Order Obsidian Glows reserves the right to decline or cancel an order or custom creation request when reasonably necessary, including situations involving unavailable materials, inventory errors, inability to complete the requested work, suspected fraud, abusive conduct, or requests that Obsidian Glows determines it cannot appropriately fulfill. If Obsidian Glows cancels a paid order before it is fulfilled, applicable amounts paid for the cancelled portion of the order will be refunded. ## 11. Intellectual Property Unless otherwise indicated, original artwork, photographs, graphics, product designs, written content, logos, branding, and other original materials displayed on the Obsidian Glows website are owned by or licensed for use by Obsidian Glows. Purchasing a physical product does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights associated with its design or artwork. Obsidian Glows content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, or commercially used without permission except where permitted by applicable law. ## 12. Website Information Obsidian Glows makes reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, prices, photographs, inventory, and other website information accurate and current. Occasional typographical, technical, photographic, or other errors may occur. Obsidian Glows reserves the right to correct such errors when discovered. ## 13. Changes to These Terms These Terms of Service and Business Disclosures may be updated periodically to reflect changes to products, services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
